Competition Success: 5 Gold Medals & 1 Silver Medal !!!

Students in the National Center for Hospitality Studies at Sullivan University have a truly amazing record of winning in culinary competitions – from 1989 to today.


Most recently, on March 31, six baking and pastry arts students represented Sullivan’s main campus in an American Culinary Federation (ACF) competition held in Cincinnati, Ohio. Every member of the team came out a winner, with five gold medals and one silver.

The team of students appeared with Baking and Pastry Arts Chair Derek Spendlove on WHAS “Great Day Live” to talk about their recent accomplishments and show off their sculptures, including two made entirely of butter! Check out the video by clicking the link below:
